How are the molecular weights of organic compounds determined?


Ans. There are a number of physical and chemical methods available for the determination of molecular weights of organic compounds. The commonly used methods are:
  1.  Victor Meyer's method.
  2. The gas syringe method.
  3. Silver salt method for acids.
  4. Platinichloride method for bases.
